I was raised with a foundation in the church,

and taught that the highest command was to care for the vulnerable.

Today, I am running against a system that has inverted that value. I’m running to challenge a political system that claims moral authority while protecting corporate profits at the expense of human dignity.

My journey has been about refining my values, not rejecting them. I realized that if we are truly going to prioritize our neighbors, we must fight for their right to survive.

I know what it’s like to struggle because I’m living it with you. My resume isn't a list of political appointments, it’s a story of American resilience. I’ve worked in the beauty industry, painted large-scale murals, and built a platform on YouTube rooted in critical thinking.

Like so many of you in the 1st District:

  • I rent my home; I don’t own it.

  • I don’t have health insurance, navigating the same "pay or pray" system you do.

  • I’ve spent years working to climb out of debt in an economy designed to keep us underwater.

I am not a polished politician. I am a neighbor who is tired of watching our representation be sold to the highest bidder while we are told to "wait our turn" for dignity. I believe in the radical idea that no one should have to earn the right to survive.

I am the kind of person who steps up when the room is silent.

I’m running because justice isn’t a buzzword to me. It’s a moral necessity. I’m here to stand on love, fight for equity, and finally give TN-01 a voice that sounds like the people who actually live here.

With liberty and justice for Y’ALL!

An artist

Before I ever stepped onto a campaign trail, I was on a ladder with a paintbrush. As a kid, I would spend hours drawing, obsessed with the idea that you could take a blank space and turn it into something that moved people.

That passion became my profession. I built and ran a successful mural business, installing dozens of works across Florida, North Carolina, and Tennessee. My portfolio includes everything from international brand campaigns to large-scale commercial projects. I’ve even had the unique experience of installing murals inside two different Florida City Halls, seeing the inside of government not through a political lens, but through a creative one.

I’m not a politician; I’m a creator. And I believe our district needs a representative who knows how to look at a blank, broken system and have the vision, the discipline, and the grit to paint a better picture for all of us. I bring that same creative "roll-up-your-sleeves" energy to everything I do. Because building a better community is the most important work of art we will ever create.

A partner

I’ve spent half my life with Dave. We met when I was just 19, and since then we’ve built a life defined by curiosity and a refusal to stay stagnant.

In 2019, we made it official at the Wayah Bald Tower on the Appalachian Trail, followed by a reception at a little diner in Franklin. That wedding was a perfect reflection of who we are: grounded, unpretentious, and deeply connected to the beauty of this region.

Dave hasn’t just watched me build my career; he’s been on the scaffolding with me, helping install large-scale mural projects. Now, he’s bringing that same dedication to this campaign.

Our "team" includes five rescues: our dog, River, and our four cats; Maverick, Goose, Grizzy and Tabby. Because we believe in looking out for the vulnerable, even the furry ones.

Dave is a mountain biker, a musician, and my biggest supporter. We moved to this district because we love the mountains and the spirit of the people here. We aren't here to climb a social ladder; we’re here because we believe in a life lived with purpose, spontaneity, and integrity.

An animal lover

For me, "Love Thy Neighbor" doesn’t stop at the human race. My life has always been defined by a deep connection to nature and a belief that the way we treat the most vulnerable among us - including our wildlife and our pets - is a direct reflection of our character.

Our home is a revolving door for those in need. Dave and I have spent our lives rescuing whoever wanders into our path. Like the pregnant stray we took in, helping her through labor and eventually adopting two of her kittens ourselves.

I’m the person who will drive hours to a specialist wildlife hospital to ensure an abandoned baby bird has a fighting chance.

If a dog or cat wanders into our yard, they get fed, they get cared for, and they get a permanent home. Whether it’s with us or a trusted neighbor.

My dog, River, is my constant companion. Whether we’re hiking the trails of East Tennessee or navigating the complexities of a campaign, He reminds me to stay grounded and present.

I believe animals are healers. They teach us about unconditional kindness and the importance of respect for all living things. In a world that can often feel cold and transactional, my commitment to animal welfare is a reminder that compassion is a practice. I’m running for Congress with that same protective instinct. because everyone, regardless of their status or species, deserves to be treated with dignity and care.

An adventurer

From hiking the rim of volcanoes in Costa Rica to crossing the American West in a camper van, I’ve learned that the world is much bigger - and more fragile - than our politics often suggest. But my heart belongs right here in the South. I’ve hiked hundreds of miles across Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia, spending countless hours on the Appalachian Trail.

For me, nature isn't just a backdrop; it’s a necessity.

It is a Healer: Public lands give us a place to rejuvenate, to imagine, and to reconnect with ourselves when the world feels too loud.

It is a Teacher: Whether I’m swimming in our rivers or talking by a campfire, I’m reminded that we are all part of a larger, interconnected system.

It is a Legacy: Our public lands are a shared inheritance. We have a moral obligation to protect them from corporate capture and environmental neglect.

I’m running for Congress because I love this land too much to watch it be sold off or polluted for short-term profit. I want our children to have the same chance to wander, to explore, and to find the same healing energy in these mountains that I have. My commitment to our environment isn't based on a policy paper. It’s based on the hundreds of miles I’ve walked and the deep respect I have for the world around us.

a community member

I didn’t go looking for a fight; I went looking for answers. My activism started simply: by showing up.

When the doors to our representative’s office were closed to us, I used what I had; my hands and my voice. I started a chalk protest outside Diana Harshbarger’s office, turning the sidewalk into a space for community education and dissent. I helped organize, I marched, and I used every platform I had to remind my neighbors of a simple truth: We are more powerful than the systems that try to silence us.

Our neighbors have been ignored in favor of profit margins.

The system is built to make us feel small so we stay quiet.

I’m running to give that power back to you.

I’m not running to be a "politician" in a suit. I’m running to be the neighbor who finally stands up at the meeting and says what everyone else is thinking. You deserve a voice that can’t be bought, a representative who actually lives the same struggles you do, and a government that treats your dignity as a non-negotiable right.

I’m running for us—because we deserve better.
